Since my last message wishing you "Happy Spring" -- and a few more snowfalls in Winnipeg -- I'm happy to say the grass is finally greening, skies are blue, and I'm truly delighted to see ravens, crows, and an eagle fly into the protection of trees with twigs or strands of tall grass in their beaks. I saw two pods of pelicans circling overhead this past weekend, and there's a great grey owl making itself heard every night! [A friend helped identify the owl by texting me a succession of "Hoo hoo" patterns, ha ha!] Sunshine is pouring through a window onto my hands as I type this message, and I'm enjoying an opportunity to exhale. I hope you're also feeling moments of calm and simple pleasures, as well!

Before getting into this month's newsletter, I want to share a resounding THANK YOU to everyone who purchased Forest Spirit, a nourishing face mask made with yarrow and cedar, raising funds for RAVEN -- https://raventrust.com/. Restocked Limited Edition Item

Thank you for requesting the return of this seasonal creation, a limited edition hand and body lotion, featuring cardamom, rose, and a touch of anise for sweetness, evoking the soft scent of a delicate custard dessert🌹Offering soothing aromatherapy upon application, this is not a perfume product, so it doesn't linger, which makes it suitable for wear at times/in places where strong scents aren't welcome.

Like Just the Goods' regularly available hand/body lotion, this variety is made from grape seed oil as an affordable base for an effective, fast absorbing, and long lasting moisturizer. ask that is soothing, clarifying, and exfoliating.

New Offerings by Other Makers

Just the Goods is pleased to offer EarthSuds, created when founder Daniel Moll sought to address the problem of plastic waste generated by body care products. Upon teaming up with his university classmate, they developed a tablet format for a variety of body and hair care products that became recognized by National Geographic as one of the top 10 best inventions to reduce plastic waste.

Since losing the ability to ship plant-based liquid soap and body wash products by Attitude to those of you in the US, I've been searching high and low for items by a maker I trust to care about what goes into what they make as much as I care about what goes into what I make. A number of years ago I reached out to Jenn Harper of Cheekbone Beauty hoping to become a stockist. At the time Cheekbone Beauty was getting ready for a very big collaboration, so we were unable to proceed. It took a few months, but I'm delighted to say organic bar soap by Ground Soap is back in stock!
