Update Regarding Canada - USA Trade RelationsAs you may already know, trade talks between Canada and the United States have paused. CUSMA -- the agreement by which I've been able to continue shipping to the United States, even after the repeal of de minimis -- is not scheduled to expire for another 10 years, but three Presidential Proclamations under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 have altered the list of products I can export into the US using USPS domestic mail without the application of tariffs: Product types Just the Goods can continue to ship to the United States without tariffs:
Products types Just the Goods can no longer ship to the United States:
All products I can no longer ship to the United States will be removed from my US catalogue, which means they can no longer be purchased for shipping to the United States. In the event such products have already been purchased before they could ship ahead of these changes, I will issue product and/or order cancellations and refunds. Any products that are accidentally purchased (i.e. using a VPN) will be cancelled and refunded. A brief summary of seasonally available items... π As promised, strawberry face mask is back in stock, please find that here: https://justthegoods.net/products/limited-edition-vegan-strawberry-face-mask-for-all-skin-typesβ πͺ» Magnesium oil is re-stocked -- I've randomized the scent varieties, but please know that if the type of prefer is marked as unavailable, please choose any version that is available and mention in the comments what you'd like instead... it's scented to order, so the inventory tracking is in place to oversee the total volume available, not each variety: https://justthegoods.net/products/just-the-goods-magnesium-oil-assorted-varietiesβ π I'll make a double batch of sacha inchi foot balm this week because I know it's an all time favourite and I've recently restocked enough oil to make 35 jars: https://justthegoods.net/products/just-the-goods-limited-edition-vegan-sifootbalmβ πΏ There is still some deodorizing foot scrub in stock, and I have enough apricot kernel to make more, so I've increased the inventory count accordingly: https://justthegoods.net/products/vegan-deodorizing-foot-scrubβ News for Canadians: The Rooted Market is Launching Soon! While it's certainly no fun navigating changes that very directly impact daily activity, it *is* exciting to be part of new initiatives! I'd love to share with fellow Canadians information about a new marketplace and directory called The Rooted Market and The Rooted Network, respectively. The Rooted Market was born from a simple desire: to help small businesses in Canada be seen, supported, and easily found in one place that makes it easy to search for and compare anything. Similarly, The Rooted Network was similarly created from the need to easily find trusted Canadian service providers in all types of industries - from hairstylists, plumbers, electricians, and painters to massage therapists, counsellors, life coaches, dog walkers, lawn care providers, and so much more. Ultimately, both The Rooted Market and The Rooted Network seek to be a trusted place for Canadians to discover and connect with talented local professionals quickly and confidently. Behind the scenes, these platforms are already emphasizing an ecosystem of collaboration, trust, and community so everyone can grow together. I'm honoured Just the Goods was accepted to be one of 150 founding members -- it's genuinely wonderful to be part of something that builds with such care, and I look forward to letting you know when it goes live! Please feel welcome to follow https://www.instagram.com/therootedmarketca for details and/or bookmark https://therootedmarket.ca so you're all ready to visit when it launches in September! Hello! π Since my last message wishing you "Happy Spring" -- and a few more snowfalls in Winnipeg -- I'm happy to say the grass is finally greening, skies are blue, and I'm truly delighted to see ravens, crows, and an eagle fly into the protection of trees with twigs or strands of tall grass in their beaks. I saw two pods of pelicans circling overhead this past weekend, and there's a great grey owl making itself heard every night! [A friend helped identify the owl by texting me a succession...
