Hello everyone! β I hope this message finds you cozy and well, enjoying longer days, and feeling inspired by early signs of spring wherever you may find them π β I have many items to share in today's newsletter, but I'll keep things as brief as possible with information about the release of something new, two re-stocks, news about the return of aluminum packaging, news for folks in Winnipeg, and a small giveaway. Please read on for details!

I usually have photos ready before announcing something new, but this time I was too excited to wait because people have been really missing the hydrosols that were available to all regions in the past, and I've finally found a way bring them back! β New! Single note floral hydrosols, amplified with the tiniest amount of corresponding essential oil, extending the benefits of each flower in a beautiful range of ways, including:
hair perfume
body spray
poured into an aromatherapeutic bath
as part of facial care, either as a single note toner, or mixed with face mask or facial scrub as a botanical enhancement
spritzed as room freshener
linen spray -- please patch test a small area of your fabric to determine suitability

πͺ»Lavender hydrosol helps skin maintain optimal acidity, which can benefit all skin types from dry to oily and acne prone, but is particularly beneficial for acne prone skin due to its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is hydrating while also removing oil and dirt among other contaminants accumulated within pores. Beyond facial care, it can be used as an aromatic body spritz, linen spray, or as part of an aromatherapeutic bath. Lavender is prized for its ability to inspire calm.

Restocked!
This has been the number one restock request these past few months πΉLimited edition shimmering rose vegan lip balm, the perfect ratio of creamy cocoa butter blended with moisture-rich sea buckthorn oil among other nourishing vegetable-based oils. Distinct from Just the Goods primary range of lip balm is the special addition of rose essential oil for a subtle hint of rose flavour, plus lightly shimmering pink mica for delicate sparkle.
The earlier version of this formula included iron oxide for a touch of rosy colour, but I've excluded it from this batch for two reasons: it's challenging to suspend to ensure it's equally distributed throughout the formula so each tube can be identical, and it's very, very difficult to clean away from production tools! π Since most people told me the shimmer was their favourite part, I'm happy that will still be available to enjoy! Yay!
Just the Goods' limited edition winter heat bath salts are back! π« π Heavy snow, gloppy slush, and blustering cold winds... blah! If winter makes you feel cold to the bone, this bath (or foot bath) is a great way to cozy both your body and mind. These bath salts are blended without essential oils -- scent is derived from the plant based ingredients, only.
Epsom salt draws impurities away from muscles and skin while conditioning bath water
Warming ginger gently stimulates circulation by producing a thermogenic effect to help the body increase in temperature. Since it can increase sweating, it supports epsom salt in clearing muscles and skin

Aluminum Bottle Update
Thank you for your questions wondering when Just the Goods' 4 oz aluminum bottles will return to inventory. The past several months have been quite an adventure! β Due to tariff related trade disruption, my packaging distributor in Canada lost access to the 4 oz aluminum bottles I have been using for several years. Knowing how important this packaging option has been for so many of you, I'm pleased to announce I'll be making an interim switch to a version with different dimensions -- they are taller and more narrow, but still 4 oz. I've adjusted the website to reflect that I can resume filling the remaining inventory I've been reserving for subscription orders, and I'll switch to the new stock as soon as I run out of the original. In other words, for the next few weeks, orders of products in 4 oz aluminum bottles may arrive in the original shorter or new taller bottle, based on stock. β Please note, new bottle pumps will be required for the taller bottles because the ones you may already have for the shorter bottles will not be to reach product at the bottom. β The switch from behind the scenes will be a little challenging (especially where shipping is concerned), but I'll do my very best ensure this transition is as smooth as possible for everyone π That being said, news of the tariffs being deemed illegal by the US Supreme Court only a few days ago may make all of this a worry of the past. Whatever happens, I'll keep you posted. Thank you once again for your patience and understanding!
Local Pick Up Fees Reduced πΊ
Hey Winnipeg! Great news! Thanks to now having someone consistently available to deliver parcels to Organic Planet for me as part of their regular weekly errands, I no longer need to pay for courier services, and that means I can reduce pick up fees from $4.00 to only $2.00 π So, instead of half the fee contributing toward the transportation of a weekly batch, the fee now reflects only the portion granted to Organic Planet as an honorarium for safekeeping parcels, available for you to pick up any time during their regular open hours, 7 days a week.
If you're in Winnipeg (or visiting Winnipeg) and haven't tried this option yet, this is your invitation to give it a try!
Organic Planet is located at 877 Westminster Avenue (in Wolseley). It's a really awesome worker owned co-operative with a beautiful selection of fresh produce, diverse pantry, delish cooler and freezer section, great variety of personal and home care goods, and a yummy beyond words plant-based cafe! In the spring and summer they also have cut flowers and seedlings! They pack a lot of awesome into a really cute lil' space, so I might be missing some of their great features. But, whatever the case, when you stop in to collect your order, you'll surely find something else you love making the trip even more worthwhile!
